Perspectives on Peace Pilgrim

I admire how Peace Pilgrim just did the thing. She didn't try to figure out how she could optimally advocate for peace and she didn't do anything to systematize her process. She simply lived her truth.

Reading about Peace feels like reading about a fictional character. See how she survives yet another extreme weather event with only a bridge and some newspaper! Admire her fortitude as she expresses love towards someone who is literally beating her!

Why isn't Peace more well known? She belongs on the Mount Rushmore of famous non-famous people along with The Naked Cowboy, Erin Brockovich, and Salt Bae.

I'm skeptical of some of Peace's more extreme claims about her mental state, namely that she was always in prayer, but that is probably because I am an unenlightened doorstop.

Peace was wise, insightful, and well-spoken, so much so that I felt compelled to share ninety quotes from her book.

The concept of a world language is Peace's most compelling strategy for moving toward world peace. I'd love to learn about efforts to make this a reality.

I encourage everyone interested to read Peace's book. Her fearlessness and resolve are inspiring. It was heartwarming to take in the full extent of Peace's devotion to peace.
