Resolution on Dating While Anxious

WHEREAS, the fundamental trait of humanity is an exceptional degree of consciousness relative to all other known life; and

WHEREAS, the fundamental right of a human is the exertion of this exceptional consciousness in any reasonable manner toward any reasonable purpose; and

WHEREAS, the fundamental action shared by any two humans is cooperation in pursuit of a shared purpose; and

WHEREAS, cooperation manifests in a set of initial actions collectively known as dating when the shared purpose is romantic in nature; and

WHEREAS, a subset of humans with anxiety experience an acute fear of causing emotional harm to another human; and

WHEREAS, paradoxically, anxiety causes this subset of anxious humans to act in ways which cause the emotional harm they fear; and

WHEREAS, these actions include but are not limited to: withholding information, keeping emotional distance, and perfectionism;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, it shall be the policy of the anxious human to explore their relationship with themself as a means of lessening their dating anxieties; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, just as the anxious human seeks cooperation with another human through dating, they may achieve cooperation with themself through the use of one or many options, tools, and techniques available for the purpose of exploring their relationship with themself; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, what may help one human explore their relationship with themself may not work for another human, just as there are many paths up the mountain, and many mountains; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, certain meta-tools may assist the anxious human as they explore their relationship with themself; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, these meta-tools include, but are not limited to: growth mindset, expanding awareness, and loving kindness; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, because a human's exceptional consciousness is uniquely their own, a human always has the potential to make a unique impact on themself and those around them, if they so choose to exert their exceptional consciousness toward such a purpose.
